• Locate your bath/shower waste water outlet on the outside of your house
• Remove the inspection eye cover by twisting it anti-clockwise. Store safely for re-attachment if needed later
• Pinch soft funnel section over itself
• Hold it securely in place and insert it into the opening
• Move the now inserted Wunnel gently in and out for the funnel section to seat itself.
• You should now have a secure and sealed outlet for your grey water.
• Depending on the height and location of your outlet, you can now either place a bucket beneath the flow of water or attach your hose pipe or irrigation pipe to lead the water where needed.
• Wunnel has been designed to either have a standard 12mm hose-pipe fit into the inner diameter or the larger 22 mm hose fit over the outer diameter (Optimal due to the larger flow rate)
• Remember that the water flow is gravity fed, so the flow direction must always be to the lower end relative to waste water outlet.

• If you live in a communal flat or high-rise with shared plumbing
• If you have modern plumbing adaptations
• If your outlet plumbing runs “upwards” or your property slopes away from your intended point of capture or irrigation location.
• Wunnel works on a gravity fed system so it works best when leading the water to the lowest point of your property.
• You may have shower back-up or “Pooling” if the draw is not strong enough.
• You may need to “flush” the system Monthly depending on use as you may get soap and hair blockages.
• If your inspection eye is too low for bucket capture
• Depending on your products used… Bio-degradable products will have a softer effect on your grass and veggie patch.
• Do not use corrosive detergents  | agents for your grey H20 usage ( eg. caustic soda etc.).
